Working for the Pacers was truly a dream come true. As a lifelong basketball fan, because, let's be honest, who isn't in Indiana?, I've always had a deep connection to the game. Even before joining the organization, I surprised my husband by reserving the court for our engagement photos, capturing a moment that sat on my desk in the arena as a daily reminder of my love for both basketball and the organization itself.
Stepping into the role of Technical Project Manager, I was hired into a newly created position within the Technology team, tasked with establishing the processes needed to efficiently manage and execute projects. I oversaw a portfolio of 15–20 technology projects annually, working closely with the CTO and VP of Technology to maintain a three-year strategic roadmap. Beyond managing core technology initiatives, I also led cross-functional product implementations across the organization, ensuring seamless integrations in areas like ticketing, security, fan engagement, and game operations.
Additionally, I was an active member of PACE, the organization's innovation group, where I had the opportunity to contribute to enhancing the fan experience through creative technology-driven solutions.
